Travel between locations and supervising assistants may be required. Licensure as a Physical Therapist in Illinois and BLS certification are required; pediatrics or school-based experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Develop and implement educational and therapy programs based on evaluation results.
• Evaluates students to identify needs and determine eligibility for therapy services.
• Collect therapy data, maintain accurate student records, and monitor progress toward student goals.
• Work collaboratively and communicate with school interdisciplinary team and student guardians.
• May travel between school locations.
• May supervise assistants.
• Illinois Physical Therapist License and American Heart Association BLS required.
