Qualifications

ADN required. BSN preferred for hires after Sep 1, 2013; must complete BSN within 5 years if hired after that date.
RN licensure required upon hire for MO and KS; multistate license accepted.
Life Support Certifications required upon hire.
Specialty certification relevant to unit’s patient population preferred upon hire.

Responsibilities

Performs forensic/medical exams in cases of alleged sexual abuse under supervision.
Meets educational needs of patient, family and staff using teaching/learning principles.
Delivers therapeutic, safe and efficient nursing care.
Attends education programs, unit meetings, peer review and maintains certifications.
