ChristianaCare's Pediatric Care Center at Newark Campus is seeking an RN for a winter temporary program. Positions offer 12-hour evening or night shifts with options of 48 or 72 hours per pay period, in a focused unit without floating.

The role supports care from birth to 17 years in a busy pediatric setting, emphasizing teamwork, family-centered care, and hands-on clinical growth for winter clinical rotation participants.

Qualifications

• 2 years of RN experience in an acute care hospital setting required.
• Registered Nurse experience in Emergency Department, Critical Care and/or Pediatric Stepdown required.
• BLS certification required.
• BSN preferred; ADN required.
• Epic-prepared and competent in assigned clinical area.
• Complete two days of orientation.
• Commit to either the 12-week or 24-week program.
• Meet weekend and holiday commitment.

Responsibilities

• Care for pediatric patients from birth through age 17.
• Work in one assigned unit for the duration of the program; no floating to other units.
• Provide high-quality, family-centered nursing care in a team environment.
• Support emergency and general pediatric acute care needs in the Pediatric Care Center.
