Job summary

ChristianaCare’s Pediatric Care Center in Newark, DE seeks an RN to provide pediatric care for patients from birth to 17 years old. You will join a 14-bed center offering rapid assessment, emergency and general pediatric acute care, with a focus on family-centered care.

The position is part-time with night shifts (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) and requires BSN or commitment to BSN within three years, plus DE RN licensure eligibility and BLS; ACLS/PALS preferred. Benefits include tuition assistance and PTO.

Qualifications

• BSN required or commitment to obtaining BSN within three years
• Two years of Acute Care RN experience strongly preferred
• Pediatric, pediatric emergency, emergency department or critical care experience strongly preferred
• Delaware RN licensure or eligibility
• BLS Certification required; ACLS & PALS certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Care for patients from birth through age 17 in the Pediatric Care Center.
• Provide care during night shift within a team-focused environment.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary team to deliver family-centered care.
