Job summary

ChristianaCare is seeking Registered Nurse II for the Winter Temporary Program in Newark/Wilmington to gain diverse acute care experience. You will work 12-hour shifts, select 48 or 72 hours per pay period, and remain in a single unit during the program, with no unit floating.

The role requires 2 years of acute care RN experience and a valid BLS; BSN is preferred, ADN required. Epic proficiency and orientation are included, with commitment to either the 12- or 24-week option.

Qualifications

• 2 years of recent RN experience in an acute care hospital setting.
• BLS certification required.
• BSN preferred; ADN required.
• Epic preparation and competency in assigned clinical area.
• Complete two days of orientation.
• Commit to either the 12-week or 24-week program.
• Meet weekend and holiday commitment.

Responsibilities

• 12-hour day or night shifts.
• Choose 48 or 72 hours per pay period.
• Work in one assigned unit for the duration; no floating.
• Opportunities across 40+ Acute Care units (Medical, Surgical, Progressive Care, Step-Down, Transitional).
