Job summary

Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta is seeking a Registered Nurse to deliver direct patient care within an interdisciplinary team. You will perform nursing processes, ensure safety, and support family-centered care for pediatric patients.

The role requires 12 months of RN experience, GA or multistate licensure, and BLS; PALS/PEARS within 1 year. Weekend shifts on Saturdays and Sundays with an additional weekday are included, with a 7:00 AM–7:00 PM schedule.

Qualifications

12 months RN experience required.
Graduation from accredited school of nursing.
Licensure as an RN in GA or multistate.
BLS certification within 30 days of employment; PALS/PEARS within 1 year.

Responsibilities

Performs nursing process across the continuum to deliver age and developmentally appropriate patient-family-centered care.
Integrates values and language preferences into healthcare delivery through a culturally sensitive process.
Utilizes clinical decision support tools to recognize issues, prioritize care, and modify plan of care as needed.
Utilizes documentation tools to record and retrieve healthcare data.
Provides patient and family education appropriate for identified learning needs.
Utilizes resources to plan and provide nursing care that is safe, effective, and financially responsible.
