Job summary

Children's Hospital Colorado is seeking a part-time Clinical Nurse II for our Pediatric Call Center in Colorado. The RN will provide family-centered triage and nursing care, working in a hybrid setting with in-state remote options after orientation.

Requirements include a BSN, 1 year of nursing experience (pediatric preferred), and an active RN license (multistate). The role emphasizes teamwork, evidence-based practice, and strong communication.

Qualifications

• BSN required; ADN with BSN planned within 3 years may be considered.
• 1 year of nursing experience required; pediatric experience preferred.
• BLS/CPR certification and RN license; multistate license required.
• Must be eligible for Colorado RN licensure at hire.

Responsibilities

• Provide Family-Centered Care within a team-based environment.
• Deliver patient and family-centered care using the nursing process.
• Communicate and advocate patient values to the interdisciplinary team.
• Support care planning, evaluation, and education for patients/families.
• Collaborate with team to ensure safe, high-quality care across transitions.
• Utilize informatics to document and support decision-making in the EMR.
