Job summary

Novant Health is seeking an RN for the Pediatrics Triage team in Winston-Salem, NC. You will perform triage calls and on-floor clinical support, ensuring timely access to care and high-quality, patient-centered service.

The role includes rooming patients, taking vitals, documenting in the EMR, and responding to a variety of patient inquiries. A BSN or active RN license is required, with preferred ACLS/PALS.

Qualifications

• RN licensure active in the appropriate state.
• Bachelor’s degree in nursing preferred or required depending on site.

Responsibilities

• Perform patient triage via phone or in-person, assessing symptoms, determining urgency, and directing patients to appropriate care.
• Provide clinical support during floor rotations, including rooming patients, obtaining vital signs, and preparing exam rooms.
• Complete documentation accurately in the EMR, including triage notes and encounter details.
• Serve as a resource for general patient inquiries, test results, and care instructions.
