Job summary

Pediatric Specialty Care at Hopewell in Aliquippa, PA seeks a Pediatric Registered Nurse for day shifts. Expect 12-hour days (7a–7:30p), 3 shifts per week with every third weekend, serving medically fragile children with trach/vent and G-tube needs.

Ohio and PA licensure requirements apply, with paid orientation and strong team support. Join a dedicated team of RTs, providers and therapists on site, with opportunities for growth into leadership roles.

Qualifications

• Current Pennsylvania RN license, or a multistate (compact) RN license valid in Pennsylvania, in good standing
• Current BLS/CPR and First Aid
• Pediatric, trach/vent or long-term care experience is a plus, not required
• Meets Child Care Supervisor qualifications under 55 Pa. Code Chapter 3800
• Calm under pressure, sharp at assessment and great with families
• This position requires English proficiency at intermediate level or higher

Responsibilities

• Assess medically complex children and act quickly on subtle changes
• Manage trach, vent and G-tube care with RTs and the care team
• Give medications and treatments safely and accurately
• Coordinate care with providers, therapists and families
• Guide and support LPNs and nurse technicians on your shift
• Document clearly and follow each child's care plan
