Job summary

Hopewell Pediatric Specialty Care in Aliquippa, PA is seeking a Pediatric Respiratory Therapist (RRT/CRT) to manage ventilators and airway care for medically complex children. You will work 12-hour night shifts and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to optimize patient outcomes.

Must have PA RT license, appropriate respiratory degree, and pediatrics/vent experience; orientation and training are provided to build pediatric expertise. A sign-on bonus and benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• RRT or CRT credential with active Pennsylvania RT license.
• Associate's degree in Respiratory Therapy; Bachelor's preferred.
• Current AHA BLS certification.
• Pediatric or vent experience preferred; strong adult vent skills transferable with training.

Responsibilities

• Manage ventilators, trachs and airways for medically complex children.
• Assess, treat and respond quickly to respiratory changes and emergencies.
• Perform airway clearance, suctioning and trach changes.
• Drive vent weaning and decannulation goals with the care team.
• Teach families and staff, including preparation for discharge home.
• Document accurately and follow AARC and regulatory standards.
