Job summary

Qualifications

• Graduate of a Board of Nursing approved nursing education program.
• Active, unrestricted RN license with multi-state compact or state privileges.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Typically requires 2 years of clinical nursing experience.
• Strong clinical judgment and critical thinking.

Responsibilities

• Engage in unit councils, governance, and quality initiatives to improve care processes.
• Utilize the nursing process to assess, plan, diagnose, implement and evaluate care.
• Monitor patient conditions and adjust care plans with the care team.
• Ensure safety and accurate EHR documentation.
• May administer medications and therapies per protocols.
• Demonstrate effective communication and appropriate delegation.
