Job summary

Advocate Health is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Wake Forest Health Network, Kernersville Pediatrics - General. The role is full-time, 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday 8:00 am to 5:00 pm.

The RN will apply evidence-based practices, coordinate patient care, and maintain comprehensive EHR documentation in a pediatric setting. Requirements include an approved nursing education program and active RN license in the state.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a Board of Nursing approved nursing education program.
• Active, unrestricted registered nurse (RN) license with privileges to practice in the state(s) where the RN is providing client nursing services.

Responsibilities

• Engages in governance and quality initiatives to improve care processes.
• Uses the nursing process to assess, plan, diagnose, implement, and evaluate care.
• Monitors patient conditions and collaborates with the care team.
• Upholds a culture of safety and documents care in EHR.
• May administer medications and therapies per protocol.
• Maintains professional development and certifications.
