Job summary

Advocate Health in Winston-Salem, NC is seeking a registered nurse for a full-time Pediatrics: General role. You will apply the nursing process, coordinate patient care, and work with a multidisciplinary team to optimize outcomes.

Expect 40 hours per week, Monday–Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., with benefits eligibility. NC RN licensure and BLS are required; floating to other units may be necessary to meet patient care needs.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a Board of Nursing approved nursing education program.
• Active, unrestricted RN license in the state(s) of practice.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.

Responsibilities

• Engages in governance and quality initiatives to improve care processes.
• Uses the nursing process to assess, plan, diagnose, implement, and evaluate care.
• Monitors patient conditions and collaborates with the care team to influence outcomes.
• Upholds a culture of safety and maintains accurate EHR documentation.
• May administer medications and therapies per clinical protocols.
• Communicates effectively and supports team delegation and professional development.
• Adheres to ANA Code of Ethics and participates in lifecycle patient care.
