Job summary

Advocate Health seeks a full-time Registered Nurse in the Wake Forest Health Network: Winston Salem Westbrook Plaza – Pediatrics. The role is 40 hours per week, Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM, in Winston-Salem, NC.

You will apply the nursing process, coordinate with the care team, and ensure high-quality patient care within a pediatric setting. The ideal candidate has a nursing degree, an active RN license, and BLS certification, with strong clinical judgment and communication skills to support

Qualifications

• Graduate of a Board of Nursing approved nursing education program.
• Active, unrestricted registered nurse (RN) license with privileges to practice where the RN provides client nursing services.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required; additional certifications may be required by specialty.

Responsibilities

• Engages in governance and quality initiatives to improve care processes.
• Utilizes nursing process to assess, plan, diagnose, implement, and evaluate nursing care.
• Monitor patient conditions, adjust care plans, and collaborate with care team to influence outcomes.
• Uphold a culture of safety and promote ethical decision-making.
• May administer medications, treatments, and therapies per clinical protocols.
• Maintain timely EHR documentation and accurate records.
• Float to other units as needed within service area to meet patient needs.
