Job summary
Pediatric Associates of Arlington Heights is seeking a qualified, compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team. Our RN will work with children in a friendly, collaborative setting and provide high-quality care under physician supervision.
The position offers 16-28 hours per week with 2 or 3 weekdays and weekend rotation. Requirements include Illinois RN license, CPR, EMR experience, strong communication, and at least two years of nursing experience.
Qualifications
- Current Illinois Registered Nurse license.
- CPR certification.
- Knowledge of EPIC or EMR systems.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- At least two years of nursing experience preferred.
Responsibilities
- Prepare patients for scheduled appointments and room them accordingly.
- Administer direct patient care as ordered by physician.
- Manage and document incoming patient calls using structured triage tools.
- Handle incoming MyChart messages with triage and home care tools.
- Prepare and administer immunizations and other office treatments.
- Provide education and support to patients and families.
- Plan and prioritize patient care throughout the day.
- Light cleaning of exam rooms; stock rooms with supplies.
