Job summary

Duly Health and Care is seeking a part-time Registered Nurse for evenings and weekends in a pediatric setting. The role involves 20 hours per week, with varied hours including Monday-Friday evenings and rotating Saturdays, plus holidays as needed.

Qualifications

• Current IL RN licensure.
• Graduate of an accredited Nursing Program.
• Current CPR certification.
• Prefer a minimum of one year of professional nursing experience in a clinical or hospital setting.

Responsibilities

• Escort patients to and from exam rooms and prepare them for physicians; take vital signs and record medical history.
• Perform telephone triage, patient education, and handle physician/pharmacy calls; assist with appointments or hospital tests.
• Administer immunizations and minor treatments; document all activities in the chart.
• Assist physicians with procedures and maintain clean, stocked examination rooms and instruments.
• Complete paperwork such as ordering lab tests, x-rays, school/work notes; sterilize equipment and restock supplies.
• Respond to patient questions as liaison between physician and patient; report results to patients as directed.
• Perform OSHA controls and assist in narcotic counts.
• Collaborate with the health care team to ensure patient-centered care.
