Job summary

Pediatric Specialty Care in Point Pleasant, PA is seeking Registered Nurses for night or day shifts and weekend-only opportunities in a pediatric long-term care setting. We welcome NICU/step-down NICU experience and value close clinical observation and teamwork.

RNs provide skilled care to medically fragile children and young adults, with orientation, mentorship, and supportive nurse-to-patient ratios to ensure safe, high-quality care.

Qualifications

• Active RN license in Pennsylvania or multi-state license (Compact)
• BLS/CPR and First Aid certification current
• NICU or step-down NICU experience valued; pediatric setting preferred
• Meets qualifications of a Child Care Supervisor per 55 Pa. Code Chapter 3800
• Experience caring for medically fragile or technology-dependent children welcomed
• New grads with relevant high-acuity clinical training encouraged to apply
• Must be at least 21 years old

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care based on residents' medical, physical, psychosocial, and developmental needs
• Assess resident conditions and develop, implement, and evaluate individualized care plans
• Recognize and respond to changes in a resident's condition
• Carry out treatments and clinical interventions per nursing practices and procedures
• Communicate effectively with providers, families, and interdisciplinary team members
• Coordinate consistent, resident-centered care across shifts and disciplines
• Guide and monitor non-licensed care team members within RN scope
• Support clinical quality, resident safety, and regulatory compliance
