Job summary

Pediatric Specialty Care at Point Pleasant, PA is seeking Licensed Practical Nurses for night, day, and weekend shifts in a pediatric long‑term care setting. Enjoy a 12‑hour shift schedule with a $5.00 per hour night differential and a regional opportunity across PA/NJ corridors.

Qualified LPNs provide skilled nursing care to medically fragile children and young adults, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team. Orientation and mentorship support are offered to new staff.

Qualifications

• PA LPN license in good standing or active multistate license with PA authorization
• BLS/CPR and First Aid certification required
• At least 21 years of age
• Pediatric training or nursing experience preferred
• Meets the qualifications of a Child Care Supervisor under 55 Pa. Code Chapter 3800
• Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English at intermediate level

Responsibilities

• Deliver nursing care based on individual care plans and clinical needs
• Administer medications and treatments per provider orders
• Monitor residents, recognize changes, and communicate concerns promptly
• Collaborate with physicians, RNs, and other disciplines to coordinate care
• Contribute to admission evaluations, care planning, and family education
• Maintain timely clinical documentation and change‑of‑shift reports
• Operate within LPN scope and seek RN guidance when escalation is needed
