Job summary

MercyOne Health System in Northeast Iowa is seeking a Pediatric RN for our inpatient unit. The unit can accommodate 8-10 pediatric patients with various medical needs and post-surgical care.

As a Pediatric RN, you will deliver evidence-based care, supervise the nursing team, and collaborate with families and physicians to achieve optimal outcomes. Nights 7 p–7 a, 36 hours weekly, every third weekend.

Qualifications

• Associate degree nursing required, BSN preferred.
• Current Iowa RN license.
• BLS certification and PALS required.
• Mandatory Reporter certification.

Responsibilities

• Provide evidence-based, outcome-focused pediatric care.
• Supervise and coordinate the nursing team on the pediatric unit.
• Collaborate with pediatricians, families, and other team members.
• Develop goal-oriented care plans and adapt as needed.
• Ensure clear communication for optimal patient outcomes.
