Job summary

MercyOne in Waterloo, IA is hiring a Pediatric RN for our inpatient unit that cares for 8-10 pediatric patients with general medical conditions and post-surgical needs. You will provide evidence-based, outcome-focused care and collaborate with pediatricians, families, and the nursing team to achieve optimal outcomes.

Schedule: Nights 7 p.m.–7 a.m., 36 hours per week, every third weekend. Requires Associate degree; BSN preferred, Iowa RN license, BLS, Mandatory Reporter, and PALS.

Qualifications

• Associate degree required; BSN preferred.
• Current Iowa RN license, BLS, Mandatory Reporter, and PALS are required.

Responsibilities

• Provide evidence-based, outcome-focused care to pediatric patients.
• Supervise and coordinate the nursing team.
• Collaborate with pediatricians, families and other team members to ensure clear communication and optimal outcomes.
