Job summary

MercyOne Health System in Iowa is seeking a Pediatric Registered Nurse for our inpatient unit. The RN will provide evidence-based, family-centered care to pediatric patients and collaborate with a dedicated team of clinicians.

The unit can accommodate 8-10 pediatric patients with general medical and post-surgical needs. Schedule: Nights 7 p.m.–7 a.m., 36 hours per week, every third weekend. Associate degree required; Iowa RN license, BLS, and PALS.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Nursing required; BSN preferred.
• Current Iowa RN license, BLS, Mandatory Reporter. PALS.

Responsibilities

• Provide evidence-based, outcome-focused nursing care to pediatric patients.
• Supervise and coordinate the nursing team while collaborating with pediatricians, families and other team members.
• Continuously assess, plan, implement and evaluate patient care and adjust plans to achieve optimal outcomes.
