Job summary

Valley Baptist Health System in Harlingen, TX is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Night shift to deliver direct patient care and lead a multidisciplinary team. This role emphasizes safety, evidence-based practice, and compassionate patient handling within a high-quality care environment.

The RN must be a graduate of an accredited nursing program with an active Texas license, and BLS is required with ACLS/PALS/NRP as applicable. A sign-on bonus may be available for this position.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Active RN license in the state of practice.
• BLS required; ACLS/PALS/NRP as applicable by policy.
• Recent acute care experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality, safe nursing care to assigned patients.
• Coordinate and plan patient care per the nursing process.
• Administer medications safely and timely per hospital policy.
• Assist with discharge planning and patient education.
• Ensure safety, infection control, and compliance with standards.
