Job summary

Baptist Health System - San Antonio TX in Harlingen, Texas is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for Med Surg/Telemetry to provide direct clinical care on a busy unit.

The RN will supervise staff, coordinate patient care, administer medications safely, and support safety and infection control standards in alignment with hospital policies. CPR/BLS is required; ACLS/PALS/NRP may be required by policy.

Qualifications

• Must be a graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Preferred: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Nursing.
• CPR certification required; AHA BLS; ACLS/PALS/NRP may be required by policy.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct clinical patient care on Med Surg/Telemetry units.
• Supervise nursing staff and coordinate patient care per the nursing process.
• Administer medications safely and timely per hospital policy; support hospital incident command system as needed.
• Maintain safety, risk management, QA, and infection control standards; respond to emergencies.
