Job summary

Atrium Health Levine Children's Hospital (LCH) is seeking a registered nurse for the 8P Progressive Care Unit on nights. This 36-hour per week position combines three 12-hour shifts with weekend rotation and offers a comprehensive benefits package.

The 8P Progressive Care Unit provides step-down care for pediatric patients, including post-PICU/CVICU transfers, with a 24-bed unit and typical patient-to-nurse ratio of 3:1.

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited nursing program.
• Candidates must have at least 6 months of RN experience; this position is not for new graduates.
• Registered Nurse license issued by the state.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
• ACLS and PALS are required within 6 months of hire.
• At least 1 year of inpatient RN experience preferred.

• As a skilled and compassionate RN, you will provide and coordinate comprehensive patient care through the nursing process.
• You will lead efforts to create the safest patient environment and the best patient experience across the continuum.
