Corewell Health's Helen DeVos Children’s Hospital in Grand Rapids is seeking a Registered Nurse for night shifts, providing family-centered pediatric care within a Level 1 trauma environment. The RN collaborates with a multidisciplinary team to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care while documenting education and discharge plans.

The role requires an RN license in Michigan, an Associate degree with a Bachelor’s degree pursued within 5 years, and BLS certification within 90 days.

Qualifications

• Associates in Nursing required.
• Bachelor's in Nursing required within 5 years.
• MI Registered Nurse (RN) required.
• AHA or ARC Basic Life Support (BLS) required within 90 days.
• Graduates from non-accredited nursing programs must have acute care or licensed healthcare experience and NCLEX passed.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional nursing care using the nursing process.
• Incorporate patient-family centered care in planning, implementing, and evaluating care.
• Discharge planning and patient education documented in health records.
• Collaborate with Nurse Leader and care teams to optimize patient outcomes.
