Job summary

Advocate Health in High Point, NC is seeking a Pediatric General RN to provide comprehensive nursing care in a fast-paced setting. The role emphasizes evidence-based practice, patient-family engagement, and safety across the continuum of care.

The position requires RN licensure, BLS, and about 2 years of clinical nursing experience; 40 hours per week, typically 8 am–5 pm with a 1-hour lunch. Strong documentation and teamwork are expected.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a Board of Nursing approved nursing education program.
• Active, unrestricted RN license with multi-state or single-state privileges.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.

Responsibilities

• Apply nursing process to assess, plan, diagnose, implement and evaluate care.
• Engage patients and families across the continuum of care.
• Monitor patient conditions and adjust care plans as needed.
• Uphold a culture of safety and accurate EHR documentation.
• Collaborate with the care team and delegate appropriately.
• Float to other units as needed to meet patient care needs.
