Job summary

Advocate Health Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center in Winston-Salem, NC seeks a Registered Nurse for the Pediatric Float Pool. This role requires at least 1 year of RN and pediatrics experience, with float pool background preferred.

You will join a highly skilled team that covers NICU, PICU, acute care, hematology/oncology, and pediatric ED. The RN will provide comprehensive patient care via the nursing process, ensuring safety, quality, and compassionate care across all pediatric units.

Qualifications

• 1 year RN experience and at least 1 year Peds experience.
• Float pool experience preferred.
• Completion of an accredited or approved nursing program.
• Registered Nurse license in the state of practice.
• BLS for Healthcare Providers certification.

Responsibilities

• Provide and coordinate comprehensive patient care through the nursing process to deliver safe, therapeutic care in alignment with established standards, policies, and procedures.
• Using evidence-based practice, clinical decision making, compassion, and strong communication while leading efforts to create the safest patient environment and best patient experience.
