Job summary

Atrium Health Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center in Winston-Salem, NC is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Pediatric Float Pool. This full-time night position (7 PM–7 AM) supports NICU, PICU, acute care, hematology/oncology, and pediatric ED across the hospital, delivering safe, patient-centered care.

Requirements include at least 1 year pediatric experience, RN license in the state, BLS; ACLS and PALS within 1 year. BSN preferred. The team values critical thinking, adaptability, and teamwork.

Qualifications

At least 1 year pediatric experience.
Graduation from accredited School of Nursing; BSN preferred.
Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which the teammate practices.
Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association.
Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) required within 1 year of hire, per unit guidelines.
Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) required within 1 year of hire, per unit guidelines.

Responsibilities

As a skilled and compassionate RN, you will provide and coordinate comprehensive patient care through the nursing process to deliver safe, therapeutic care.
Using evidence-based practice and clinical decision making, you will contribute to a safe environment and a high-quality patient experience across units.
