Job summary

Advocate Health in North Carolina seeks a registered nurse to join the Pediatrics: General team at Wake Forest Health Network Kernersville. The RN will deliver high-quality patient care using the nursing process, coordinate with the care team, and document accurately in the EHR.

The position is full-time, Monday–Friday, 8:00 am–5:00 pm, 40 hours per week. Requires RN license and BLS, with at least 2 years of clinical nursing experience; BSN preferred for advancement.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a Board of Nursing approved nursing education program.
• Active RN license with privileges to practice in the relevant state.
• Two years of clinical nursing experience typical for the role.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.

Responsibilities

• Engages in governance and quality initiatives to improve care processes.
• Uses the nursing process to assess, plan, diagnose, implement and evaluate care.
• Monitors patient conditions and adjusts care plans with the care team.
• Maintains safety culture and accurate EHR documentation.
• May administer medications and therapies per protocols.
• Communicates effectively and supports team collaboration and delegation.
