Job summary

Mercyhealth is seeking a registered nurse to provide comprehensive patient care in collaboration with an interdisciplinary team. You will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care using established nursing processes while documenting accurately and ensuring patient safety.

Qualifications

• ADN required at hire; BSN preferred.
• Minimum 2 years RN experience with certification.
• Current RN license in state of practice and CPR/BLS due within 90 days.
• Other certifications per unit requirements (ACLS, PALS, PEARS, NRP).

Responsibilities

• Deliver and document care using the nursing process.
• Administer medications and treatments per policies and state laws.
• Develop and execute patient care plans with physician guidance.
• Educate patients and families to support understanding and self-care.
• Participate in department performance improvement initiatives.
• Mentor and precept new staff.
