Mercyhealth is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to provide patient-centered nursing care in a clinic setting. You will assess patients, administer medications, develop care plans, educate patients and families, and collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure safe, efficient care.

The role emphasizes critical thinking, accurate documentation, and ongoing professional development, including phone triage and support for patient flow within the ambulatory setting.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• ADN required upon hire, BSN preferred.
• Illinois: 10 hours of continued education as required for IL licensure

Responsabilités

• Uses nursing process with interdisciplinary team to care for patients.
• Performs assessments, planning, intervention and evaluation of care.
• Administers prescribed medications and treatments per policies and standards.
• Ensures accurate and comprehensive documentation per standards of care.
• Develops and executes patient care plans with physician and team guidance.
• Engages in performance improvement activities and shared governance.
• Supports patient safety and patient experience, escalating as needed.
• Supervises nursing support staff and facilitates flow of clinic patients.
• Responds to telephone triage and maintains timely clinic flow.
