Job summary

Pediatric Specialty Care in Point Pleasant, PA is seeking a per diem Respiratory Therapist to join our pediatric long‑term care team. The RT will provide ventilator and respiratory support, collaborate with nurses, physicians, and therapists, and help ensure high‑quality, patient‑centered care for medically complex residents.

The role requires an Associate’s degree in Respiratory Therapy, active licensure, and CPR certification.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree in Respiratory Therapy (Bachelor’s degree preferred).
• Active state Respiratory Therapist license (RB/NRB as applicable).
• CPR certification required (AHA Healthcare).
• Must be 21 years or older and able to read, write, speak English at an intermediate level.

Responsibilities

• Screen and evaluate ventilator and respiratory clients.
• Consult with attending physician on treatment protocol and write care recommendations.
• Develop and maintain individualized care plans and document progress.
• Administer medications and therapies per physician orders and PSC policy.
• Maintain accurate medical records and communicate with the interdisciplinary team.
