Ochsner Health seeks a Respiratory Therapist to provide respiratory care, oxygen services, diagnostic testing and ventilation support for patients from neonatal to geriatric. Candidate will perform ABG analyses, EKGs, and assist with airway management under physician orders, following established policies.

Strong computer skills, clear communication, and proficiency with Windows-based software are essential.

Qualificações

• Education: Associate's Degree required; Bachelor's Degree preferred.
• Must have computer skills and dexterity for data entry and information retrieval.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills and ability to present information clearly.
• Proficient with Windows-style applications and role-specific software packages.

Responsabilidades

• Performs routine and advanced therapeutic procedures according to policy.
• Reviews and documents clinical information for each patient.
• Educates patients and co-workers on procedures and treatment plans.
• Adapts care to patient population and respects privacy and consent.
