Qualifications

• Graduate of a CoARC‑accredited respiratory care program.
• Associate or Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Six months post‑graduate experience in respiratory care (required).
• Neonatal/pediatric experience preferred.
• DC licensure required; NBRC RRT certification required.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive respiratory care including airway management and ventilation.
• Administer inhaled medications and perform bronchopulmonary hygiene.
• Monitor patient responses (vital signs, ABGs) and adjust treatments.
• Educate patients and families on respiratory care and disease management.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams for safe transport of ventilated patients.
• Document care accurately in MedHost EMR.
