Job summary

The Valley Health System (VHS) is seeking an experienced registered nurse to join Summerlin Hospital, a busy 496-bed facility in Las Vegas. You will provide safe, competent nursing care, lead the healthcare team, and ensure patient-centered care in alignment with facility philosophy and standards.

Qualifications include an RN license in Nevada, BSN preferred, and current BLS/ACLS or PALS/NRP as required. One year of acute care experience or completion of an approved specialty course within 6

Graduate of an accredited nursing program and completion of a Specialty course or equivalent within 6 months of hire.
One-year acute care experience or successful completion of an approved specialty course within 6 months of hire.
Current RN license in the State of Nevada.
Current BLS Certification. Current ACLS Certification (adult) or PALS/NRP as required by department.

Responsibilities

Provide safe, competent nursing care for patients in accordance with facility policies, standards, and philosophy.
Provide professional leadership and support to the healthcare team.
Oversees and guides employees under supervision; demonstrates Service Excellence standards at all times.
