Job summary

Seattle Children’s is seeking an RN to join our health care team in a pediatric setting. The RN will provide safe, family-centered care using the Nursing Care Process, collaborating with patients and families and the health care team. Supervision and delegation of tasks to support staff may be required.

Compliance with state practice standards and organizational policies is essential. Preferred candidates will have a BSN and pediatric nursing experience, plus an active Washington RN license and

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Current Washington State RN license, or other required state license.
• BLS for Healthcare Providers required at time of hire; PEARS/PALS accepted in lieu of BLS.
• PEARS within 6 months for designated areas.

Responsibilities

• Provide family-centered patient care using the Nursing Care Process (assess, plan, implement, evaluate).
• Collaborate with patients, families, and health care team to coordinate care.
• May supervise and delegate tasks to Nurse Technicians, LPNs, CMAs, CNAs, and others per state codes.
