Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Nurse to join our team in a dynamic healthcare setting. This role involves managing patient intake, conducting advanced telephone triage, and participating in research activities. The successful candidate will act as a liaison between patients, families, and healthcare professionals, ensuring accurate records and documentation are maintained.

Job Title: Registered Nurse - Triage

Responsibilities

• Conduct patient history intake and preparation.
• Collect and manage lab data.
• Conduct advanced telephone triage functions.
• Participate in research activities.
• Act as a liaison between patients, families, and healthcare professionals.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation.
• Monitor and order supplies.
• Perform quality assurance (QA) functions as directed.
• Assist with the orientation and training of new personnel and clinical staff.

Essential Skills

• Registered Nurse (RN) license.
• Triage experience.
• Electronic Medical Record (EMR) experience, with Epic preferred.
• Strong phone skills.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Pediatric experience is a plus.
• NY RN License required.

Work Environment

This is a full-time position with hours from Monday to Friday, with no weekend shifts. The work environment is supportive and offers opportunities for career growth within a leading health system. Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $40.00 - $48.00/hr.
