Join Our Team

ABC is looking for a Certified Pediatric Nurse Practitioner to join the brand-new Cohen Clinic for Children, an innovative first of its kind pediatric health clinic co-located with an early childhood education center, an after school program, a summer day camp, and a children’s mental health clinic, allowing families to access the vital health, educational, and therapeutic services their children need all under one roof. Children attending other programming at this center, as well as children from the surrounding community, will be given priority for services, though all children will be welcome.

Position Requirements

• Certified Pediatric Nurse Practitioner, licensed in New York State
• Passion for working with children and families in underserved communities
• Experience in community health, primary care, family medicine, pediatrics
• Strong communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills
• Bilingual Spanish/English a plus

Job Duties Include (but Are Not Limited To)

• Provide comprehensive pediatric primary and preventative care, including well-child visits, immunizations, screenings, and treatment of minor illnesses and injuries
• Collaborate with mental health and early childhood education teams to support children’s holistic health
• Oversee the clinic’s operations
• Supervise clinic team (~2-3 staff/interns during first year of operation)
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in electronic health records
• During first year of operation: participate in clinic ramp-up efforts
