Pediatric Therapy Associates in Aiken/Lexington, SC is seeking a highly organized Patient Care Coordinator to manage referrals and insurance authorizations across multiple clinic locations, supporting families, therapists, and leadership to ensure timely access to pediatric therapy services.

The ideal candidate will have solid medical insurance knowledge, experience with referrals and authorizations, and strong organizational and communication skills to navigate multiple plans and portals.

Qualifications

• Experience in medical office administration and healthcare coordination.
• Strong knowledge of medical insurance terminology and processes.
• Experience with referrals, authorizations, and insurance portals.
• Pediatric therapy exposure is a plus.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Process and manage pediatric therapy referrals for multiple clinic locations.
• Verify patient eligibility and benefits; obtain authorizations.
• Coordinate referrals for OT, PT, SLP, and other pediatric services.
• Communicate referral status and required information to families.
• Maintain accurate documentation throughout the intake process.
• Manage referral workflows across multiple clinic locations.
• Assist with waitlists and scheduling opportunities.
• Collaborate with billing, therapists, and leadership to resolve issues.
