WVU Health System is seeking a Radiology Technologist to perform imaging and related patient care under the Radiology Department. Candidates must complete a Medical Imaging Program, hold a state radiography license (MD/OH/WV) or ARRT certification where required, and obtain BLS within 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities include rotating through diagnostic areas, acquiring diagnostic images with optimal exposure and minimal radiation, and educating patients about procedures.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a Medical Imaging Program.
• Current Radiography License as required by state board where services will be provided.
• National ARRT registration as defined by location.
• CPR/BLS certification within 30 days of hire.
• State and/or federal background checks as required.

Responsabilités

• Rotate in Diagnostic areas to develop technical skills (Fluoro, Mobiles, Routine, OR, Endoscopy, Orthopedics).
• Perform image procedures based on patient status and protocols.
• Produce high-quality images with proper exposure factors.
• Educate patients regarding radiographic procedures and answer questions.
• Promote team collaboration with tech, nursing and medical staff.
