Qualifications

• Certificate or diploma in Radiology program (Required)
• Additional related education and/or experience (Preferred)
• Minimum 2 years Radiology Technologist experience (Required)
• Pediatric experience (Preferred)
• Familiar with surgical environment (Preferred)

Responsibilities

• Performs a variety of diagnostic radiography imaging tests as prescribed by physicians and providers.
• Determines proper techniques to ensure optimal results and performs equipment calibration/maintenance.
• Maintains competence through ongoing learning and current literature in diagnostic imaging.
• Provides radiography safety information to patients and families.
• Participates in evaluation and development of new procedures and quality improvement.
• Serves as a preceptor for staff, students, and new employees.
