Qualifications

• Certificate or diploma in Radiology program is required.
• Minimum 2 years Radiology Technologist experience is preferred.
• Pediatric radiography experience is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Perform a variety of diagnostic radiography tests as prescribed by physicians.
• Ensure proper techniques for optimal results and maintain equipment per procedures.
• Finalize records in RIS for timely charge capture and archiving.
• Maintain professional competency through ongoing education and literature.
• Provide safety information about procedures to patients and families.
• Contribute to development of new procedures and quality improvements.
• Serve as a preceptor for staff, students and new employees.
