Job summary

Qualifications

• ARRT certification required or in-state equivalent.
• State radiologic technologist license (where applicable).
• BLS certification for healthcare providers is required.
• MA Competency Checklist may be required in clinic or InstaCare settings.

Responsibilities

• Maintains ARRT or modality-specific competency in all clinical and technical functions.
• Prepares patients, verifies identity, and follows department protocols.
• Performs exams, reviews images for quality, and ensures accurate documentation.
• Adheres to radiation safety guidelines and maintains a safe environment.
• Completes studies efficiently and assists/teaches students and other staff.
• Provides patient education and addresses concerns, ensuring comfort.
• Maintains infection control and sterility; operates equipment and systems.
• Keeps accurate records of procedures, patient information, and adverse events.
• Follows coding, charging, and QC procedures; reports equipment failures.
