Job summary

Intermountain Health is seeking a Radiologic Technologist to perform diagnostic imaging tests and ensure high-quality results. The role collaborates with radiologists and clinic staff in a fast-paced hospital setting at Riverton/South Ridge clinics.

Ideal candidates hold ARRT(R), state licensure if applicable, and BLS. The position supports Pediatric Clinic and InstaCare with a sign-on bonus up to $5,000 for eligible candidates. Schedule is Mon–Fri, 9:00 am–5:30 pm, with a 40-hour week.

Qualifications

• ARRT certification (R) required.
• Radiologic technologist license in state of practice (if applicable).
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
• May need MA Competency Checklist in some clinic settings.

Responsibilities

• Maintain ARRT or modality-specific competency.
• Identify patient, verify orders, and prepare for exams.
• Perform exams per protocol and assess image quality.
• Adhere to radiation safety guidelines and maintain a safe environment.
• Assist and instruct students/colleagues on protocols and procedures.
• Provide patient education and comfort; address concerns.
• Practice infection control and sterile techniques.
• Operate equipment and information systems to ensure quality images.
• Keep accurate records of procedures and any adverse reactions.
• Follow coding, consents, QC programs, and equipment issue reporting.
