Job summary

Intermountain Health is seeking a Radiologic Technologist to perform diagnostic imaging exams at Riverton. You will work with radiologists and clinicians to ensure accurate imaging results while maintaining patient comfort and safety.

The role requires ARRT certification, state licensure where applicable, and BLS. Sign-on bonus up to $5000 is available for eligible candidates, with benefits and a 40-hour work week.

Qualifications

• ARRT(R) certification is required.
• Radiologic technologist license in the practicing state when applicable.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification for healthcare providers.
• May need to complete MA Competency Checklist and perform MA functions in clinic.

Responsibilities

• Maintain ARRT competency in clinical and technical tasks.
• Verify patient identity, verify orders, and prepare patient for exam.
• Perform exams per department protocol; review images for quality.
• Adhere to radiation safety guidelines and ensure a safe work environment.
• Complete studies within time limits while sustaining patient care and quality.
• Assist and instruct students and other radiology staff in protocols.
• Provide patient education and comfort; address concerns.
• Practice infection control and sterile techniques.
• Operate equipment and related systems to ensure quality images.
• Keep accurate records of patient info, procedures, and reactions.
• Follow protocols for medical necessity, coding, charging, consents, QC, and reporting failures.
