Job summary

TCH Medical Center in Houston, TX is seeking a Manager of Radiology (Non-Ionizing) to lead the imaging sections of Radiology. You will ensure staff have resources, training, and leadership to deliver pediatric imaging services with cost-effective, family-centered care.

Responsibilities include standardizing workflows and protocols, coordinating with nursing and hospital staff, managing budgets, supervising staff, and driving quality improvements across all radiology modalities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Radiological Sciences or a technical diploma plus formal diagnostic Radiology training.
• Preferred master's degree in healthcare or management for leadership and operations.
• Credentials required or preferred per ARRT classifications and state licensure.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of CT, Interventional Radiology, MRI, Rad/Fluoro, Ultrasound, Women’s Radiology, and Nuclear Radiology.
• Provide direction, leadership, and staff development to ensure high-quality pediatric imaging services.
• Standardize workflows, procedures, and quality standards across the department.
• Monitor budgeting, inventory, and capitalization processes for equipment and supplies.
• Schedule staff, manage call rosters, and ensure appropriate coverage.
• Coach and evaluate staff, conduct performance appraisals, and support professional growth.
• Ensure compliance with Joint Commission and licensing requirements.
• Collaborate with nursing and hospital leadership to maintain family-centered care.
