Job summary

Children's Healthcare of Atlanta is seeking a Radiologic Technologist to perform diagnostic pediatric imaging as part of a multidisciplinary care team. You will operate radiology equipment, ensure safe patient care, and document in the EMR while collaborating with radiologists and nurses to produce high-quality images.

The role requires an ARRT Radiography credential and BLS within 30 days, with no minimum experience required.

Qualifications

• ARRT credential in Radiography (R) required.
• BLS within 30 days of employment.
• No minimum experience required.
• Experience in pediatrics preferred.
• Successful completion of an ARRT-approved educational program.

Responsibilities

• Operates modality-specific imaging equipment for patient care.
• Updates EMR with orders, exams, check-in, and results information.
• Assists radiologists with contrast media administration as needed.
• Collaborates with physicians, nurses, and staff to ensure patient safety and quality imaging.
• Contributes to department QA initiatives and accreditation efforts (ACR).
• Maintains age-specific competency guidelines across patient groups.
