Job summary

Minimum Education: MD; fully licensed; board certified or eligible; commit to ongoing CME and high quality patient care within a multidisciplinary team.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of current principles, methods and procedures for medical care.
• Complies with legal and ethical standards for medical care delivery.
• Ability to function independently in evaluating patient problems and planning care.
• Ability to incorporate ethics into patient care and discuss with patients and families.
• Supervise and train clinical professionals and students in area of expertise.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical services for patients at Children's Hospital and approved sites.
• Oversee medical care team and improve continuity of care and partnerships.
• Provide on-call services as determined by division leadership.
• Engage in family-centered care and coordinate referrals to specialists.
• Follow escalation policies and communicate clearly with trainees.
• Participate in quality, safety and compliance activities.
