Job summary

Banner Health’s Desert Peds Pulm Clinic in Mesa, AZ is seeking a dedicated Medical Assistant to join our pediatric back-office team. You will room patients, take vitals, prepare charts, perform pulmonary function tests, answer back-office calls, and assist with authorization tasks alongside two Pulmonary Physicians, one Nurse Practitioner and two MAs.

Schedule is Mon–Fri 8:45am–5:15pm with no weekends or holidays; we offer growth opportunities, certification support, and a commitment to

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Completion of an approved Medical Assistant program.
• Active Medical Assistant certification required.
• BLS certification required.
• Strong computer skills with medical software.
• Arizona Fingerprint Clearance Card may be required for Banner sites.

Responsibilities

• Room patients, record vital signs and prep for exams.
• Assist with exams, phlebotomy, EKGs and procedures.
• Coordinate pre-certifications, referrals, and scheduling.
• Provide clerical support and accurate billing documentation.
• Maintain clean, stocked, and sterilized clinical areas.
