Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia (CHOP) seeks a licensed Physical Therapy Assistant to support inpatient pediatric care under direct supervision. You will deliver PT treatment, assist in the gym and treatment areas, and coordinate care with therapists and families.

This on-site role emphasizes patient-focused rehabilitation across units. Requirements include an Associate's Degree PTA, PA licensure, CPR, and at least 1 year pediatric experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Interpersonal relationships skills that permit effective communication with parents, children of various ages, peers and supervisors.

Responsabilités

• Clinical: Read and review medical records to understand diagnosis and goals; provide direct interventions in individual or group sessions focusing on gait training, exercise, and modalities.
• Instruct patients and parents in home programs, document progress, and coordinate with therapists and care teams.
• Maintain an orderly PT gym and treatment areas; participate in department planning and growth opportunities.
